BATH STATE BANK WINS HOOSIER HARVEST AWARD
Union County Farm Bureau Inc recently nominated Bath State Bank for the Hoosier Harvest Award in Indiana. This award is presented for outstanding promotion of Indiana farm products and for enhancing the positive image of agriculture. Bath State Bank is not a typical financial institution. They have a dedicated agriculture department and each member of the department is always willing to lend a hand. They have participated in many activities including Union County Ag Day committee, Union County Farm Bureau board member, Union County Soil & Water Conservation supervisor, Union County Cattlemens Association, supporter of many Indiana and Ohio 4-H fairs and the 2001 Marketing Fair. Each of these activities promotes not only the education of producers but also consumers on the benefits of Indiana agriculture. Their continued support is greatly appreciated in our community.
